SUMMER PROGRAMS
All camps are held at our studio, 300 West B St Elkton, VA.
What to wear?
Have dance attire if you own a leotard, leggings, and dance shoes (ballet or jazz) if not, simply wear comfortable clothes and socks in the studio!
For all day camps please bring a packed lunch and a water bottle!
Pirates & Fairies: Land and Sea Adventures!
4 DAY CAMP
for ages 6 to 9
July 17-20 (M-TH)
9:30am - 2:30pm

Kids will craft 1-2 themed projects per day, and create a large scale backdrop for their final performance! Each day we will have begin with a creative ballet class, with Alexis White. We may dress the part of pirate and fairy, with provided costume pieces / accessories! We will finish the day with high energy jazz dance, stories and dance games!
$100 for full camp!

Total Musical Madness!
4 DAY CAMP
for ages 9 to 14
July 24-27 (M-TH)
9:30am - 2:30pm

We will begin each day with a jazz class from Alexis White, working on building technique, learning new skills, and flexibility. Their next class will be high musical theater, dancing combined with spoken word and singing! We will tackle all things BROADWAY: West Side Story, Newsies, Cats, Lion King, Hairspray, Mamma Mia!, A Chorus Line. Students will craft a large scale backdrop for their final performance on Thursday! We will finish each day with 30 minutes of a popular musical movie, projected on our projector screen in the studio.
$100 for full camp!

Travel the World! - Through Dance and Crafts
4 DAY CAMP
for ages 7 to 11
July 31-August 3 (M-TH)

Kids will make 1-2 crafts per day and create a large scale backdrop for their final performance! We will begin each day with a ballet class from Alexis White, teaching the dancers French and Russian styles of ballet training. Our second dance class will be a different theme each day based on our country of focus! We will explore Irish tap dancing, Chinese dance with fans, Spanish dancing from a guest teacher, and Bollywood dancing!
$100 for full camp!

4 DAY CAMP
for ages 5-7
August 7-10 (M-TH)
4 - 6pm
Kids will craft 1-2 themed projects per day, and create a large scale backdrop for their final performance! Each day we will have begin with a creative ballet class, with Alexis White. We may dress the part of pirate and fairy, with provided costume pieces / accessories! We will finish the day with high energy jazz dance, stories and dance games!

PREPROFESSIONAL DANCE CAMP
5 DAY INTENSIVE WEEK
Ages 13 to 18
August 7 - 11
This intensive/camp is open to any intermediate or advanced level dancer and highly recommended for our dancers to get back into shape for the winter season. Each day begins with an hour and 15-minute ballet class, followed by pointe or pre-pointe, lunch, then jazz, ending the day with contemporary technique. We plan to have special activities such as an injury prevention class and an educational nutritional lecture for dancers from JMU Dance faculty Dr. Sarah Gosselin PT, DPT, CSCS. We will travel down the road for a pool day at Swift Run, weather permitting.
A showing of our work will happen Friday, for family and friends to see!
