Our Mission & Story

We are a dance studio located in Elkton, Virginia founded by our Artistic Director, Mary Elizabeth Humphrey, in 1990. Offering our movement classes, productions, and showings to our wonderful community for over thirty years!

Our studio is dedicated to nurturing young movers through all the passions they grow to pursue. Yes, even if it is not dance! Our students have went on to become physical therapists, nurses, neuroscientists; some are teachers, professional company members, or contracted performing artists. Each passion sparked by or strengthened through dance training. Dance improves balance, functional range of motion, flexibility and coordination; you'll learn how to engage with physical challenges, and tune into a deeper understanding and awareness of your body. And of course, have fun and make life-long friends.

We offer techniques that create professional dancers, as well as playful classes for those little ones who love to let out their energy! All students are carefully guided by our skilled teachers, we aim to have every dancer leave our studio feeling empowered and impassioned for life.
